Interior sound
Interior sound
Does anyone else on there 09 hear a popping sound or flex pop behind your left ear? When I go over a rough patch or crease in the road, something behind my left ear pops, I'm sure its an interior piece. Ive tried to press on the parts around the seatbelt, but still heard it, must be further back...????
YES I've heard this. Not sure what it is, but I would argue a lot of folks think that it's actually the engine-knocking, which I don't think is the case at all.
I think it's just the body of the car popping near or behind the front-left wheel, but again, not sure why this would be the case.
You described it pefectly: the sound is audible from your left ear, particularly at low speeds. "Flex pop" as you write, describes the nosie, as it seems to happen when the body of the car "flexes", such as when making a turn.
I don't think it's coming from the car's interior...

The audible noise is clearly coming from the front of the vehicle, no further than the end of the driver's side door, near the handle.

i hear that also, just a pop, definitely not the rear shelf crackling becoz my tsx has that also, not only going on a bump, but sometimes from stop to start rolling, it doesnt bother me much becoz there has been so much noise already: the homelink bezel, the rear shelf, the engine pinging
