Inspect your standard 17" rims

Hey guys. I have installed my winter setup and noticed that all four of my standard 17" silver rims are starting to drop paint. Its terrible you can remove the paint from the rims using your finger. I went to Honda dealer imadeatly, they took some photos and after two hours I had a call that they are going to replace all four rims with new set. Check your rims.

Here is an example of rims I have:

How comes?

Did you use some aggresive cleaning product? I've got the same rims and so far no problems. Only cleaning with water is enough, most of the times...

No, simple turtle car shampoo with wax. Paint problems are in many points of the rim, front and inside too so its 100% manufacturer fault.
