I just grab a Philips with vice grips so I can Really lean into it. If they are stripped, just drill them out, pull rotor off. Once you have the rotor off you will be able to remove what's left of the little screws with a pair of pliers and put a new screw in.

I have used my impact driver with a phillips head successfully on several cars ...I have also twisted the top of the screw off using said tool (once).
