Hissing sound when engine turned off after using A/C
Hi all,
Whenever I shut off the engine after using A/C, my TSX makes this hissing sound for a few minutes around the alternator area. Is this normal?

I just heard this noise the other night after parking in the garage and using my AC. I have no idea what it is, but I'm not that concerned... sounds like coolant moving around or something.

My Tacoma used to do the same thing when I shut it off. Nothing was wrong, I think it was just the pressure equalizing between the high and low pressure sides since the compressor stopped turning.
If everything is blowing cold, then it probably isn't anything to worry about.
