Help Using creative zen player connected to USB

Hi All,

New to the forum- Just purchased a 09 TSX tech (whoo hoo- I'm so loving it) on Monday! As I feel as though Apple has a monopoly on the mp3 player industry-- I purchased a Creative Zen player a while back.

Anyways, I keep receiving an unsupported msg when I plug it in using the USB cable. It works using the aux cable but unfortunately it still requires me to operate it using the player instead of the car system.

Does anybody know if this feature can be fixed/ modified to support the Zen?

Thanks!!

It can also read mp3 files from a plain flashdrive through usb port. Maybe Creative Zen has a more complicated file system so that the TSX audio system can not simply read it.

Is there a setting on your Zen that you can set it to Mass Storage Device when connected via USB? If so it may help since it let your Zen act just like a flashdrive.

Thanks everybody!

I know that there is a mass storage option on the device. I think it might require me to move my files over. I'll try that and see if it works.

Thanks
