Error code PO705

Hey all, This code popped up the other day on our 2010 TSX. I have searched the forums, but haven't come up with a TSX specific solution. I've read that it could be the Neutral Safety Switch/Range Sensor. The Check Transmission light is on, and the D light is blinking. Cannot use paddles in D. Has anyone had this issue, and come up with a fix? Any tips would be appreciated! B

Sounds like a bad sensor.

Not sure if this is the issue or not, but #20 on the diagram appears to be the item that the obd code is talking about...

Best of luck.

Thanks for the reply. I saw that video, and it is helpful. TSX cant be much different. I took the car to my mechanic today and paid for 1/2 hour of diagnosis. He said its most likely the Range sensor, and to start with that. For 75 bucks its worth a shot. I will post up results, and maybe take some pics.

Yes, I bought a new Neutral safety switch from rock auto for 84 bucks shipped, and it took me probably 15 minutes to install. Piece of cake! Check engine light went out the next day, and its back to normal. The switch is right there under a cover when you remove the drivers side wheel. 5 10mm bolts and a plug and its out. I got this DeWalt 18 volt 1/2 in impact driver for christmas, and it has paid for itself already, doing F and R brakes and now the switch.
