drivers side h1 headlight wont light up

i recently changed to LED retrofits on the main headlight that takes the h1 projector bulb. tested the light, both lit fine on dr and pass side. then i stuffed things back into the enclosure and now my drivers side one wont work. i checked the led and it lights up when connected to the pass side. my guess is i shorted something so i visually checked the fuse under the hood 3-4 and it appears to be fine. any ideas? could it still be the fuse even though it looks fine?

Check here for a quick description of the headlight system.

- check the + and - of the supply wires of the driver side with a voltmeter to confirm if you are getting power - if not, check fuses with an ohmmeter. Otherwise you may have fried one of the control units.

As TSX guy said above, use a meter to check the fuses, don't trust your eyes. Very slight breaks can be hard to see on the newer fuses.
