DIY 09 tsx question.
Hey guys. New to this thread here. I haven't been getting much help/response from .com. I've posted but it seems to just flow right by people that read them. Even a simple respond saying that they don't have it would be nice. =/ Anyways, I was wondering if anyone had some tips or manual/pictures of DIY front head lights and maybe curb scratch =/ I just curbed my OEM rims yesterday and it's not looking good at all. Also, I'm looking at popping the fog lights out to clean them and change them to yellow HID. Any suggestions on that? Any feedback would be great. Better than not having any. Thanks. I'll post some pics up soon.
For curb check, there's not a lot of DIY that I'm aware of other than a pneumatic driven polishing stone or maybe one connected to an electric drill? Even then, you've scraped through the clear coat so it will still look different.
As far as changing your fog lights to yellow HID, google "HID Conversions" and there'll be plenty of hits for whatever bulb your original one is (H3, 9006, etc). Only thing is, the reflector in the driving light is made for a halogen, not a HID, meaning it will be wayyyyy brighter than it's supposed to be for oncoming traffic.
