Deleting diagnostic codes from navi screen??

The manual says that this can only be done at the dealership. Anyone know if there is another way of doing it? I had a harness unplugged with the ignition turned on that threw a code for the VSA. The light on the cluster reset itself once the harness was plugged back, which most circuits work this way, but now the code is stored under Messages on the nav screen....

I don't have any error messages at the moment, but when reviewing the message screen that was whining about the gas cap being loose, at the end of the message aren't you able to delete it?

No, it will not let you delete it, probably because its a diagnostic code for the VSA. The only options are to locate dealer and call dealer...

Anyone know if we can do this ourselves?

I have 3 codes on mine. The car is fine - I just brought it in for maintenance and the dealer must have prompted these codes while it was in. Did not notice until after I left.
