Delay when stepping on gas

I bought a 2010 Acura TSX about 6 months ago and have a little over 2,000 miles. My question is when I am going a moderate speed and I hit the gas to pass someone it has a noticeable delay before it reeves up. Is this normal with a TSX?

Yes. Blame the drive-by-wire throttle.

Mine does the same thing and what did GrigioX mean?

My 2009 auto 4 cylinder does the same thing. It can get pretty annoying stepping on the gas and waiting for the car to take off. I get around this problem by using the paddle shifters a lot. The car does not downshift in Sport mode and therefore eliminates that lag in acceleration.

By the way what does GrigioX mean when it mentioned that this has been fixed?

He is right paddle it b4 gassing it. You can also take some of the slack out of the gas cable by adj it at the sensor. Just make sure to have some one put the pedal to the floor so that you don't damage the sensor.
