Damn...busted A-Pillar

hey guys,

Driving home yesterday in my 09 TSX, I hear a flapping noise. I thought it was the roof rails (the rubber strips) which has come undone before after a car wash. It wasn't. It's the A-pillar piece that runs up the side of the driver side front window. WTF???

I'm bringing it to the dealership tonight to have them fix it. It better be under warranty or else.....sorry I don't have a pic to show. I'll let you all know what happens. Anybody else here had this problem before?

A-Pillar

Sorry, just to elaborate, the piece at the top end near the roof has come loose. I have no idea how or why. I haven't been thru a car wash lately. I just hand washed my car over the weekend. Really strange...

Sorry to hear that, unfortunately it's not a new problem, they have a TSB for it.

09-016 APR 09 Body - Windshield Side Trim Retainer Loose/Missing

Go to the dealer and they will fix it as per TSB.

So your A-pillar just broke off the car and was flapping? It just came off all by itself?
