Creaking Noise after Installation of Axles

Another issue popped up. As the weather gets warmer, around 70+ F, and I drive for about 30 miles, when I turn the wheel left or right in a parking lot, I hear some rubbing noise. It sounds like a door creaking open and close turning from left to right or right or left. This occurred after the axle got replaced and I feel a THUNK when I am coming to a stop.. any ideas?

You might want to apply some white lithium grease to all of the moving joints of the suspension linkages. Ball joints and control arms and tie rods. I'm not sure what all needs to be disassembled to replace the axles but when I had my Honda prelude after swapping out cv joints and other suspension work I had a very annoying creak. After greasing everything up it went away.

Fount out is it my SPC upper ball joint. I guess that will need to be replaced soon also. Just trying to look for a reputable shop to do it.

How many miles did the SPC upper ball joint last you? Do you recall at what camber you had the front set to? Just curious, as I was contemplating on getting a front camber kit myself, but I don't really need it and it seems that anything other than OEM is prone to calling it quits sooner.

Glad you found the issue though. I was pretty annoyed hearing the ball joint creak after hitting a pot hole in my 2G TL back in the day

The SPC lasted maybe 70k. I usually just zero my camber, if not 1 degree. The rear is a must but the front I believe isn't necessary.
