If it isn't still doing it, I'd say its a snipe hunt. My imagination says maybe a piece of debris was between the pad and rotor surface that caused it. Who knows?

lol when i was a tenderfoot in boy scouts, the older higher ranked boys took me on a snipe hunt.

i figured it out quickly tho and didnt get lost

I think I was looking at these same brakes...so how do you like them?

They were a lot cheaper on Amazon btw.

i put slotted rotors on my car and i am not impressed, especially with the rear ones. i pulled them off yesterday only to find the rr one cracked. going back to oem plus they make a lot of noise. Just natural for the slots to be louder. performance they are sweet. Wll try oem rotors with Hawk pads.

oh forgot to mention the scratch looks like it is from the clips the hold the pads.
