I have a 09' TSX (Just turned 40K) and just yesterday I noticed that when I turn on the Air, it makes a weird noise (Like putting a baseball card on a wheel of a bicycle) Any idea what might be causing this or if I can fix this myself? I accessed the cabin filter but I'm unable to see anything as it's pretty tight in there. If not, I might take it over to Acura next weekend.

 

Did you change the filter, and if yes, it may be due to the type of filter you used. Try changing the fan speed and the air flow direction (MODE button) to see how the noise evolves.

 

Yes, I changed the filter about 3 weeks ago but this just started happening yesterday. I even pulled out the Air filter and it's still making that noise.

 

sounds like the noise my air conditioner has been making lately. sounds to me like the fan might be loose and wobbles while its on, creating that noise. i use to love putting the baseball card on my bike. vroom vroom ahahaha "was that a mongoose or a harley??"
