Broken foglight

Anyone of us experienced this kind of failure?
The foglight's case on the driver side was broken a few days ago, it wasn't a crack, but a through-hole.
Mine was TSX2010, not even a year.

Today doesn't seem to be a good day for me.
Normally, I just click on the registered imageshack link and it got me through. Now I can't. Anyway just asked to reset password.
I shall load a few pix of the broken foglight in Imageshack and link them here since I just can't insert photo directly to this site.

Thanks for helping me, mrstak.

I've stumble across a few posts about foglight problems, I didn't pay much attention until I saw mine, I thought mine was worse.
Anyone else ever got this kind of problem?
Do you guy think it's still under warranty since I own this less than a year?

Thanks for all input.

One of the complaints on the 1st gen. tsx was foglights that cracked. I was hoping they would do something to correct it with the 2nd gen. Guess not. It is considered a normal wear and tear so it is not a warranty repair. Now if you are lucky like I was and some others the dealer might fix it under goodwill. Both of the foglights cracked within the first 6 months on my 06. The dealer replaced them free as a one-time goodwill. I then put rockblocker (no longer in business) on them. Good luck so far after 4 years.

i have this issue with my 09 TSX. It looks pretty much identical to yours, in Canada the dealers have been instructed to not do a goodwill replace if the car has more than 80,000 kilometers on it. mine broke long before the 80k mark, but i didnt bring it up to my dealer until afterwards. i guess im stuck with paying 260 a piece.

$260...... You're crazy bro. Check out this link, I think it's more like $141.70 shipped.

This happened to my 1st gen TSX. I went and picked up a new fog kit for an Accord at a Honda dealership (same part but cheaper than buying at Acura dealership). I then put rockblocker film over the lights. I had that car for 6 years with over 230 000 km on it and it never happened again.

When I bought my 2nd gen TSX, I brought the film with me and put them on before driving it off the lot. While I was there I saw a demo TSX with smashed fogs. I don't know why Acura/Honda hasn't done anything about this.

Does anyone know if I can just buy that plastic "lens" (what do we call it?) or I have to buy the entire housing, which costs more than $100?

Anyone know how easy or difficult it is to replace the fog light assembly? I need to purachse a service manual.

I have a crack in my 2009 TSX. Looks like the crack is from a small object, probably a rock due to all the beltway construction on 495 in MD.

My dealer quoted for $425 total.
He said it's not under warranty, he knew what happen, required replacing entire fog-light assembly, meaning the front bumper must be removed first.
