Anyone change out a foglight?

I have a passenger side foglight that was plastered with a rock or something. Anyone here change one? Have to take off the bumper, yes?

Easy/Difficult?

Taking off the bumper would make it a hell of a lot easier but not necessary.
To change it out I'd say its fairly simple.

To get it out without taking the bumper off you'll have to get the panel that's right under the fogs out. It's held in by 3 "bitch clips". Once those are out, pull that panel down and you should have access to the foglight assembly. It's kind of a tight fit you you have big hands/arms. The foglight assembly is held in by 4 SILVER screws which are relatively easy to get to. The two lower ones are pretty much right there and easily seen while inner upper screw might be a bit hidden buts till visible. After you get the assemble out remove the mounting bracket from it and re install the new foglight on it and reverse steps.

If you take the bumper off you don't need to fish around in that lil opening trying to get the screws out and back in.

pics? did it break the glass of the foglight housing? then you need to replace the entire thing. if its just the bulb, you don't need to take off the bumper or housing, if its the glass, you'd be foolish to not remove the bumper. it isn't that difficult and you will save yourself ALOT of hassle

So I changed it out without removing the entire bumper. Had to jack the car up on the side of the fog, undo the screw and clip in the fender well and three clips underneath.

You are working "blind" though as you can't see the screws that attach the fog lamp to the vehicle, have to do it all by feel.

The bitch-clips almost seem to me to be a one-time use only, as removing them seems to make them useless — I saved a couple and bought a few new to replace. I do have a "bitch-clip removal tool" that I got from heel toe.

Glad it worked out~
I'm pretty anal about messing things up so my bitch clips were fine after removal haha atleast the newer design is alot easier to work with compared to the the older design

Next time I'm doing anything to the fogs I'm taking the bumper off though, was a pain in the ass when i painted my covers and dont wanna go through it again lol
