Ok here is the deal. This is my first post on this site. I just bought a 2008 tsx from a dealership. I am fairly car savvy but I am having a huge issue with key fob/key. Here is the scoop. I bought the car and with it they gave me a single key and a key fob. Key fob unlocks all the doors/trunk and the key starts the car and drives it. No problem.

Oil change reminder came on, changed oil, tried to reset the light and got the driver unrecognizable message..this is where it goes downhill. I did some research and found out a lot. They key has a v on it. valet. I reset my key fob a couple of times. using the on/off 4 times yadaya. When i push the unlock and lock at the same time nothing happens.. the led doesnt blink once or twice. when i push unlock or lock individually it does blink. How can I get my driver one programed and a new key cut to the original and not the valet?

Please help. I will pm my phone number if you can call rather then typing it all. I really need a hand. Its driving me nuts!

They don't copy the key anymore they put you're VIN in and it cuts by a code, then they will have to re learn it to the immobilizer, it will be a couple hundred bucks to do.

ok so i can take my switchblade key i just purchesed from heeltoe and just bring it to the dealer and they will handle the rest?

Also note to the mods. Sorry i posted this in second gen its supposed to be in first gen.
