2012 navigation screen issue
for the people who have the newer upgraded navi screens...have u guys ever noticed the screen get very pixelated at times?
i noticed this a while back...it seemed to do it if i drove the car for a longer amount of time. so the screen looks fine, but then after a while the whole thing becomes very pixelated...its very noticeable...and even if i switch to the audio screen, it's still like that...but then sometime later, it'll fix itself and be normal. it never does it on start up, only times i've seen it was when i drove my car for longer than an hour. don't know if temperature has anything to do with it either. but know the last time it did it, it was this past sat and it was in the low 90s
anyone else have this issue?

Not here. I've done multi hour trips in varying conditions with absolutely no changes in the screen.
Sounds like a warranty item. Can you park and video the issue the next time it happens?

yea i'm going to have to take a video cuz there's no way i'm gonna coincidentally have it occur to show an acura rep or something. meh its really random so i gotta be ready for when it happens...blehhh i'll try though. my camera phone probably won't be able to pick up the distortion but i'll try. if not then hopefully i'll have a camera ready.

I have seen the same thing on my 2011 TSX Sports Wagon. I'm convinced it's picking up some type of interference signal. I've noticed that it happens in specific areas where I drive (like just South of downtown Dayton, Ohio on I75).

hmm u might be right. the only time i think i saw it was in the city in an area where my old garmin used to go crazy and say i'm 4 blocks over or whatever. but it doesn't make sense...why would the screen go fuzzy if the signal is low?
i'll be on the lookout for it still...
