Hi All ..

I have a 2012 Accord Euro 6 speed (TSX) which is 8 months old ..love it but the manual shift knob already has split in it ! Right along the crease. I am going to take it back to the dealer and try to get it replaced but considering it is only a vinyl are there any OEM looking aftermarket leather ones available ? Is this a problem that other M/T owners have had ?

I think this is the part number for an M/T genuine leather shift boot:

Your AUS dealer should be able to order one. If not, you can order from a UK dealer. I have had great luck with Glyn Hopkin.

However, a replacement to your torn vinyl boot should be covered under warranty.

 

Thanks Kixo ...thats extremely helpful mate ! Im gonna get the dealer to replace mine as its definitely a warranty issue imo, but that perforated leather part is going to have to be ordered also should be standard!..cheers
