Put on the new wheels today and decided to wash the car. Here's some quick pics. I like how the wheels look dark in the sunlight and light in the shade.
And here's the debadged ass.

I agree, on PWP I think the chrome grill adds enough of a little bit of contrast to make the car look good. There was a picture of a white one with a painted grill, and while it looked good, grills are supposed to add a little bit of contrast to a car, hence why they're almost always black with chrome accent all the way around. Looks great, 20's right. Oh it looks just right with the grill. I personally think paintmatching the grill is overrated, I don't see the big deal that everyone is making out of it on all the posts.

thanks for the comments everyone. wheels are 19s on 245/35 rubber. As for the grill, I have no problems with the stock grill and it's not at the top of my list when it comes to doing other things to my car.

Seeing you car is making me rethink which finish I will get. I was thinking Liquid Graphite but....Car looks great. You are right about the grill on PWP. Although I paint matched my grill, I think the grill on my wifes PWP looks good. Besides, it's her car and she's not an enthusiast.

I'll say this much, the 19" raven black finish appear bigger than my 19" liquid silver finish.
Any plans for like a rear decklid spoiler or anything like that? Or any other body pieces?

Yep. I really want to get the front lip that's available in Europe and elsewhere but here. And I do want a decklid spoiler.. just debating whether to go with the OEM one or the Ameba one. I also want window visors as well. I want some of the Mugen parts, but they are so expensive! lol. What about you? Any other plans?

Looks Great!! I would have voted for the liquid from your other thread so I'm glad I got as far as the link to the pics from the new one. Amazing difference over stock. Makes me more sick than before. Luckily I drive it mostly in the dark, and fast on the highway. hehehehehe.
As soon as the disposable cash tree I planted starts to bloom I will be first in line to replace mine.

Oh, and I agree, leave the grill alone. On the black it looks nice, but I saw a Grigio painted and was, well, expecting more. Not worth the money in my mind. Unless you're willing to do the window trim and door handles. Besides, we Bikers like chrome, so if anything, I'd say ditch the silver paint and get the grill chromed and add chrome mesh inserts in place of the black plastic. I like the contrast in the front end.

WTH happened to my garage
I was running 16" black Ronal R9 wheels back in 1984 on my 77 1/2 Z28, so black is almost always my vote.
Oh, and yes, I had a mullet while I owned it.
Looks great!

Well it looks like there will be three of use with the same wheels and tires on this forum...LOL.
I've used the Falken Ziex 512 on two of my cars in the past and found them to be very good so I figured I would give the 452 a try. They also seem to be the most reasonably priced.
