why not mess with spacers etc...to get the offset you're looking for? given, I'm biased but those work wheels look PHENOMENAL on your car. everyone has the te37 reps...keep it unique!

Thanks Rockstar. XC8's look amazing on your car too...I feel like they're the least common of the emotion series but one of the nicest. But Im not getting reps anymore...Ive already test fitted the new set of wheels im looking at and they're pretty much mine

Just a couple pics of my new stance on stock wheels...and a teaser :P

Test Fit!

As usual, all comments welcome. Ill write a review on the megan coilovers later after I ride on them some more. So far nothing but positive things to say though.

The drop makes the stock rims look pretty good, haha. Nice rim choice, would love to see the final product.

TE-37s are HOT! Every car I had since 1998 ran TE-37s (E36 M3, MKII MR2 Turbo, Accord, Si, Speed3). My favorite set of TE-37 is the Seibon carbon gray editions on my Mazdaspeed 3.

Wanted to go TE-37 again but even the wife said it was time for a change....

I'm bumping these pics again because I just saw your rims for sale in the classifieds and had never seen those pictures before:

https://acurazine.com/forums/showpos...&postcount=225

Love the color combo and the way the rims flow with the rest of the car, and I don't know that I've ever seen those Works, all I've seen are the "usual" CR Kais, XD9s, and more recently, 11Rs. Great look with these.

thanks puppet master! after what you and rockstar said, im tempted to just keep them. Snow is hitting the ground here already in vancouver so the purchasing of rims will now wait till the end of winter...im gonna keep saving for the next few months and maybe I can get wheels nicer than those te's. I want them bad but since they wont go on till february anyways, might as well wait and keep saving.

Well, it's gonna be hard finding anything that looks better, unless you want a totally different look like a 6 spoke or mesh.

And on the rims, it's great if want to save over the next few months and also take time to reevaluate, but sometimes good deals can be had in the middle of winter as people (like yourself) start trying to sell their rims to find something new for next year. Just sayin...

Very true puppet master. I am really in the middle of a big dilemma right now..it is alot of money to spend on one thing and I just want my hard earned money being put into the perfect set of rims. Heres another cell phone pic from the test fit.

No updates yet really. TE's are still the most likely on my list of wheels but just waiting until winter is over to give payment to my friend. Who knows, I might find another set of wheels and my bud said no pressure, so just waiting it out. I am going to write a review on the coilovers early janurary. Its been some time now and I feel I can write up a pretty good analysis for my fellow CU2 owners. Nothing but good things to say so far though...tried many different dampening settings and I liked 13/15 in front and 13/15 in the rear. Pretty much stiffest settings possible so for people who want a coilover that rides soft, there is alot of dampening to work with with the megans. Thanks for the compliments too

Badass choice in rims, imo the gray Works looked better on white. But losing nearly 10 lbs in rotating mass is even better.

nice ride!! I was wondering about the tints on the headlights. Did you just tinted the orange part and left the other part alone? If so what percentage did you do?

I test fitted 19x9.5 +35 with 275/30/19. Rears cleared but fronts did not. I think a +22 offset would have worked too. And then with stretched tires, options open even more heh.

Heres a thread with a few more pics. There is no % darkness to this film, I just chose the darkest one possible. Thanks man.

I bought a replica lip kit, and put on the front and rear. You can see pics on the previous page. The side skirts however I did not put on. I hope that answers your Q. My car lease is up end of this year so I have to start a part out in the near future... I will sell my lip kit then..

ttk5, with prices for used Acuras/Hondas quite high right now, you might want to consider selling. You might even make some money!

hmm i semi agree, but i think its still a bit bulky, not as much as the black, but def. more bulky than defcon's 2011 tsx.

still one of my fav pwp tho, other than the one in Australia with the gold ssr lm9...

Ohhh, your guards are rolled yeah ttk5?

Can someone tell me if there's much of a difference in 19x8.5 + 29 and 19x9.5+35? What's more and what's less? I was thinking to go 8.5 +29 in the fronts...... I am winging it. I also plan to run stretch. Not 275
