slippery14's PWP Waaagon

Coming from an 2002 RSX base MT to a 2012 PWP Sport Wagon. I went through a lot with the RSX and was forced to do a lot of my own repairs for the first time and had fun learning along the way. My girlfriend gave me the final push to look for a new car bc I waited long enough and she thought I deserved it. As soon as I looked at the TSX Wagon I fell in love and that was my first mistake lol but I get emotional about my cars. I wanted one with lowish miles and def wanted the tech package for the assisted lift gate. Considering I barely EVER even saw one on the road I found out how hard it was to find what I was looking for. After some time I found a beauty and it was only 300 miles away lol. Got on a train and made the trip to look at the car and hope that I liked what I saw. I say "liked" bc this is the first big car purchase I was making and I didn't wanted to make a smart purchase. Luckily I had my sister who knows all about car sales to help me along the way over the phone. So I got the car at a reasonable price and made the drive back home where I was able to let my emotions that I was hiding at the dealership finally sink in. I was in love with the car and so happy I made the right choice...kinda. Made the trip home with no problems and went right to bed. After I woke up I went to start the car only to hear the dreaded VTC actuator grind/rattle. Making a long story short the dealership sent me a check for the cost of the repair, I got it fixed, and I went back to enjoying the car. Even tho I'm getting less MPG's, I'd say it's sooooo worth it

So far I picked up a set of brand new oem mats along with two WeatherTech mats for the front that I'll use in the winter, changed out some lights for LEDs and got tints put on. Also pieced together a roof rack for a bike and recently got a spare set of oem wheels that I'll use for spares/winter tires.

I want to put 18's on but can't decide on what just yet as far as the wheel and a change in suspension. I really love the stock ride (remember I'm coming from an RSX) so I'm hesitant on changing the suspension.

She took care of me and I took care of her. Moved on after putting 100k on her and sold it at 240k. Great car.

Arrived at the dealership to see it ready for me to test drive.

First pic after the long drive home

Got the rack setup for a random ride

After I got tints put on. First time having tints on my car.

Haha! That's probably rare cuz how often do you see them farther away?
I've only seen maybe a handful. Only one that I know lives nearby but don't see it often at all. It's also White.

Taking a quick look online I've found that fat bike in general are not mounted on the roof without modification to the carrier. Bigger tires and added weight make things complicated it seems. Looks like you need a hitch. I almost got one before the roof rack but the roof rack was cheaper and way easier.

Paint matched the grill. Had a few hiccups while painting but its acceptable enough where you you would have to be up close to notice. It bothers me just knowing lol but I figured I'll rock it through the winter and then maybe swap it out for a Honda grill. I also put window visors on but obviously can't see them. I'll post another pic in the daytime soon.

I don't agree nor did I expect that reaction but I respect it. Something someone does to their car isn't for everyone.

That is why I said two times:

1) You like it, that is all that matters

2) Then again its your car
