Raven black rj on pmm.
Just enough time for a teaser.
I told the tire shop I was more anal retentive then a Virgin Nun and not to use an impact gun so they didn't. They even went as far as making me move my car. They didn't even get in it. LOL. I bought them Donuts so there you go.
On a side note, it was as if the TPMS was never switched over. The minute I started the car everything checked out.
Sorry if I offended anyone with the Virgin Nun comment but I'm Catholic so if it did offend you, it's because you're too sensitive.

I'm not sure which springs I'm going to get yet. As you know it took me almost 9 months to decide on these wheels. Hopefully I will decide on the springs soon. I am a little concerned about lowering the front 1.2" and I still don't know if Progress springs are...progressive. That will be what I base my decision on. I would rather have a progressive rate spring.
Would you prefer I wait until it is dropped before I send you photos?
Thanks again for the great customer service Ron. It was a pleasure doing business.

Anyway since you are here, what is your opinion on the Eibach VS Progress? Which would you get and why? HD

The nice thing about Ron Jon wheels is that they are a bolt on mod. No need to worry about offset, or hub centric rings. Well worth it in my opinion. The quality of the wheel is second to none and at 20lbs they are pretty damn light.

LOL. I will as soon as have time to take some shots. The car is going to Acura tomorrow so I won't have a chance to wash/wax/beautify it until Sat. It won't be until Sat evening before I take more shots so hopefully I will post some pics on Sunday.
I'm not sure how much point there is in taking more shots until it is lowered but your wish is my command. LOL.

Man your ride looks great. You, Darren and Chibanh all have the same rims but give off a different feel. Whereas Darrens car looks more sporty with the legends, yours looks straight up boss! Looks like CEO of major company is riding inside it haha

Yeah it's interesting how Darren's car looks sporty, Chibianh's car exudes class, and mine looks, according to tk5, Boss. LOL. As far as RJ wheels go I think the Legends look the best on the 2G TSX.

haha. Im serious though; all 3 of your cars exude different styles even with the same rims. I know ones PMM, PWP and CBP so maybe color has something to do with it?

How did I not see this post yesterday?
Looks awesome Lou! Can't wait to see more shots of the car. I'm just as anal as you, however I wouldn't even let the tire shop mount my wheels, I won't even let the dealer rotate them. I prefer to mount them myself, that way if I scratch them in any way, I have nobody to blaim but myself.

LOL. And I though I was the only crazy one.
I thought about putting them on myself and even told the tire shop I was willing to do it but I've dealt with them in the past so trust me when I say they understand just how anal I am. Even I wouldn't want to deal with me. That said all it would have taken is for someone to slip and oohh shit, the sky would have fallen....Acura didn't want to touch them but that's only because I've made them replace my front bumper and centre consol due to their lack of....consiousness.
Dito with the rotation, I already rotated the tires on both of our cars myself. It seems like people have forgotten how to respect other peoples stuff.
I cringe everytime I think about having to take my car to the dealer for anything.

When I brought my car to Acura to get my alignment done, I made it a point that if I see a single gouge in one of my wheels from the laser balancing devices (they clamp onto the outer lip of the wheel) I would throw a fit and make them replace the wheel(s). Needless to say, they took a long as time but we extra careful.
I wouldn't even let them wash the car for me afterwards like they do all their serviced vehicles.

LOL. I will PM you later about my saga. It's quite long but being that you seem to be a Virgin Nun as well, no dissrespect intended, I'm sure you will appreciate it.

I never understood why people modded their cars as it seems mostly cosmetic, but now that I have a TSX and have joined these forums, I get it. It's definitely very appealing.
And Lou01, if I may offer the perspective of a "civilian," your car looks awesome!

Forgive the noob question, but when you say "bolt on" does that mean it's as simple as changing a spare tire? Just remove your old wheels and put on the new ones?

I"m modding my car to make it mine and there is plenty more to come....
Thanks. I appreciate it.
The wheels cost me $1,755.00 to my door. The tires cost me $ 1,600.00 out the door and the TPMS sensors cost me $360.00.
Total cost was: $3,750.00.
