New Graphite Luster Metallic TSXy

Hello all!

Just bought this sexy beast and well it wasn't the color I initially wanted, but this is still sexy and I have already gotten some double and triple takes from people walking by it parked.

Super happy with it

Congrats on your purchase, and welcome to the forum.

Is it a Tech or Base model? GLM is a very nice colour.

Thanks guys!

Looking forward to being a part of this community. I think I'm going to leave it stock for a while. I got it with only 1 mile driven on it so I'm going to cherish this awesomeness before I start tinting, lowering, getting new rims/tyres, etc...

You already have some on your car, go check at the bottom of the rear doors on the frame. To answer your question, on a garage queen maybe. Daily drivers film that is exposed to a lot of harsh environments should to be replaced about every five years. After that, they get more difficult to remove. It's like a fan belt, you shouldn't wait till it breaks before you get a new. If you take good care of the exterior of your car, and the film, it will last much longer than someone who doesn't.

I noticed there is a blue LED courtesy light in the footwell, does anyone know if there are anymore of these lights in the car?

Yeah I figured that out.

I do find it odd though that the footwells lights go on when you unlock the car, but the one in the center console storage area only turns on when you have your headlights on.

Yeah. They light up similar to the overhead lights (if you left the overhead ones in the "door" position).

turn your overhead lights to the 'off' position and test it out. It's not hard to miss since it gives that blue glow haha

Okay! I can't help myself. I have to tell my story... this is my 1st post.
I Just sold a 03 MINI Cooper S that had some sweet mods. It was my summer baby only and I intended to keep it forever (in my case that might not be too long) But long story short, it only had 10,467 miles on it! My wife "made me do it."
So, I just ordered, sight unseen, never test driven, a 2011 TSX Sport Wagon Base and GLM in color. It won't be here until the end of July or 2nd week in August, so I can't wait.

TSXy thanks so much for your post and pics!!! I'm cranked/amped!

Yeah...

TRUST ME... if the dealership had the right combo, it would have left with me. That day, no other dealer in socal had it, nevermind another GLM TSX 5AT Base

And maybe you and coooolwhip should do a trade? haha

hahaha sorry to burst your bubble again coooolwhip, but black was the least favorite of my list of color preferences.

Mine had 1 mile when I got it and I think right now it is around 50-60 miles.

GLM's the best. What was your initial color preference? And yes, I recommend getting a clear bra for the front.

And don't use the spray, get the liquid form. Lather it on there really good, at least 10-12 coats.

Alternatively you could wrap your seats in some cf vinyl or matte black ish....
