My PWP V6 TSX

Hey guys, just wanted to introduce my tsx on here. I purchased the car in March of 2023 this year. The plan was to keep it stock but you guys know how that goes lol. I scored some BC Racing Coilovers from a wrecked TSX from my local junkyard. Aside from coilovers, the car has a few Ultra Racing goodies installed too. Most notably is the 22mm rear sway bar. The rest are just subframe tie bars for both the front and rear subframes. I have a front sway bar to be installed but I am not sure how in-depth or the proper process of doing it will be, so I may let a shop do that. The car has 190k miles and i am expecting to cross to 191k by the end of this week. But yeah, thats about it for now. Future plans would be a 2011+ bumper with the SE fangs/lip, and sideskirts. A nice oem 09-10 front lip though would also be nice.

sooo i got a modulo rear bumper and spirior tails today. I found them not so locally about 3.5 hours away but it was worth the drive to me lol. The car had sat for about a year so the bumper and tails need to be cleaned up but in good shape overall. Stock exhaust looks a little tiny and sunken in sadly, so I might put different exhaust tips on it maybe.

Hi, nice to see that our old Modell is still a beautiful car. Your ride with 190T mileage looks pretty good.

Recently installed Acura RL brake calipers and stainless lines. Also got 20% tint all around except the windshield, and kept it untinted. Need to do an oil change, replace my upper control arms, and do my timing belt. Current mileage: 194,692 miles.

lowkey looks squatted here

Nothing new other than crossing 196,000 miles and having some weird brake issues that I can't pinpoint. I am thinking though it might be the brake hoses I swapped on which is kinda lame. Ready to be done with final exams this semester so I can tackle the timing belt job. On the original belt and tensioner. The recent cold weather has not been doing it any favors lol, but I have the kit ready to be installed just gotta find the time. Also I took these today, since it was really foggy and my digital camera from the 2000s does a decent job of getting the vibe I was going for.

Its just like silent hill!!

That's looking really nice! I love the Acura RL brake calipers, where did you get those?

I pulled the calipers off a wrecked 2011 Acura RL at a local junkyard. If I remember correctly, it was like $30 a piece but that was about a year ago. The FastBrakes bracket to run it cost over double what I paid for them sadly, but its a really nice quality kit and includes everything.

Thank you, I'll have to look into that. I love the way yours looks. I would like to do something to my brakes to help them pop a bit.

So today I did the timing belt on the TSX. Original belt and tensioner made it to 197k, although the tensioner was not doing too good lol. The process was the exact same for any honda/acura V6. I will say no hydraulic power steering definitely freed up more room than I thought. I feel like I remember my 07 6-6 accord had less space. I also spotted a modulo tsx in the wild a couple weeks ago. I would really love the side skirts and the bumper, though I wouldnt mind a facelift bumper with the fangs if I could ever find a 2011 one in PWP. I need to get some wheels that fit flush, but I care more about the kit not gonna lie...

Well, crossed 198k a few days ago. We got a whole lot of snow recently, a rare occasion for my area lol. I found the source of my braking issues though. One of my SPC rear camber arms came loose in the back and spun the car sideways but I was able to recover. Happened on the ice on a empty road so I didn't hit anything and the slide seemed pretty smooth so I don't think anything else broke or bent. Got a replacement bolt and threw it back together, and it drives fine. I can tell the alignment is a little off but that's expected. I think I'm gonna pull the stock suspension out of the garage and throw a set of lowering springs on them. Sad that ill have to raise it a little bit, but the BCs need a rebuild. Other than that the car has been vibin. Start a new job next week so hopefully that means money for car parts yayyyy

I crossed 200k miles yesterday, so if I wasn't already, the car is now officially high mileage. I guess updates from the last time I posted, I decided since I had to get an alignment again I might just raise the car a little. I don't like the new height at all so I plan to change it back next time I have to do some suspension work. I put in LED bulbs in the fog light housings because they were 7$ free shipping and one of mine was starting to flicker. I will be happy if the bulbs make it a few months because I need to change the cracked lenses on the fogs eventually.

still looks lower than stock when next to one though

Well I have made a few changes since my last update. Firstly I got a lip spoiler that was already paintmatched. Fitment still needs some work but the way it was packaged didnt really do it any favors. Secondly, I have since removed the BCs and installed some kyb struts paired with H&R lowering springs. The BC racing coil overs need a rebuild and I scored the new KYBS and H&Rs for a good price (~430 USD for everything). The biggest improvement by far is in braking. I no longer nose dive as hard as I did previously and overall handling has been greatly improved. I also got a fresh alignment and new tires installed this past weekend and found out one of my wheels had a slight bend but tires have also helped with handling too so I'm happy about that. I've been eyeing a set of oem 18s with the ebony finish but I also may just see what good deal I can try to get on marketplace. Still need to get a lip kit too but I guess i have to put it off again since I have to get new wheels lolll.
Heres the height the H&R lowering springs settled at after 2 weeks and alignment. OEM V6 18s and 235 45 18 tires.
