My gf just traded her 08 Civic Si in for a 09 TSX with tech package.

Within a couple of days, I got the itch to just to small things to it. She bought the car for her family, so we don't plan on modding it too much.

I thought you were waiting for the TSX Wagon to come out in the Fall.

 

Initially I was, but decided it's not really what I want, and also my A/C is acting up so I just want to get rid of it. I decided I want AWD, and I kind of started to like the ease of getting in and out of the RDX when I had one as a loaner. Its higher stance will be easier for me to put heavy things into the cargo area, too (I have a bad back so anything helps). I just wish the RDX got better mpg, but it is what it is.

 

just came across this thread and had to chime in about the RDX. whenever i drove my parents old 07 RDX tech, the ride was so stiff and the seats so sporty my lower back would hurt after driving 30-45 min. even though im only 20, i sprained my lower back when i was 18 and had to go to PT for 5 months. i still am not fixed. back pain for life i guess

anyways i heard they softened the suspension a bit after '09 or '10 but i recommend going on a looooong drive before purchasing, especially if this is your daily driver. i can safely say i get no more back pain on long drives since i got my TL.

overall though, i gotta admit. that RDX is one sexy beast. especially my old Moroccan Red Pearl. i miss it.
