What's your plan for matching the compound curve of the glass? you just gunna sand a little bit, test fit, sand test fit?

Can I advise you?? If I were to restart my project I could tell you what I would do, but I don't wanna impose if you already have a set plan of what you are doing.

So the whole sanding and hoping you are sanding at the right angle sucks! There are two curves you want to get right. We will imagine the roof is the x plane, and up toward the sky is the y plane. You want the curve on the x plane to match where the window meets the roof, since you are only moving within the x plane its pretty easy to match that curve since there is a nice gap between the window and and roof. Thats the easy part, but matching the contour of the window as you move linearly across the x plane and down across the y plane is really hard. I thought that foam in a can would hold true to the shape of the window once it hardened but it was easily deformable once I removed it.

Sooo the part you actually care about. I would tape off your back window put a releasing compound over the tape then lay down a few layers of fiber glass. Then you will have the bottom shape of your wing. From there you can pop it off your window and build up layers of foam and shape it into whatever you want. Then glass, bondo, smooth, paint.

I wish I started this way but I'm way too far in to start over.

^^ Just a few screws and tabs to loosen up for the grille. You will see how to take it off once the bumper is removed.

LOL you guys......

Joe I would totally do that if I had the materials now but I dont :\ This is gonna be a long project for me since I has no moneys to fund it, and lol you're not the first one to say that about the tissue boxes...

Yes, tripod with tissue boxes on it cause I'm too poor to afford a dolly setup so I tried that out and surprisngly enough, it works well on carpet LOL

Green lumpy thing are pea's in a pod

And thats just a TV not monitor lol I didnt like using the PS3 on my monitor since there's input lag so I just got the TV there instead XD
