I may have to take you up on that one of these days if I decide not to sell them.

The more I think about it, I'm going to hate the ride and I think that 18s or 19s would be better. Not sure though. Still up in the air.

^^Haha. If they were 19s then I wouldn't even think twice. I just don't want 20s. Too much of a pain and the ride is horrible.

I'm going to stay with Vossen, just a different wheel design in 19s.

Haha. I am so flip flopping right now....

I am just going to lower it in March and then throw all four on. If I like them, I'll drive it over to my shop to have all the tires changed. If I don't like them, for sale they go and then Vossen concave in 19s.

That's the game plan!

I just don't want 20s to look to big, gawdy. They are heavy as hell too.

^^. Yeah. I am trying to find out when they are going to come out with them in a size 19. I may have to wait for them, depending on whether or not they make 19s in that limited edition gunmetal looking finish.

I'd love to see it lowered on your vossens, that'll be the most aggressive set up i've seen on the CU2, nicely done!

You can definitely make those wheels fit with some work. Probably going to need a little more than a 2in drop though to make it look right though. Having the fenders rolled and pulled a bit and those should fit no problem. Will depend on how many miles a year you drive or it might not be worth it with how often you will go through tires with the amount of camber you might need though.

I was actually going to come in here and suggest doing these CV2s on your car.

I think the CU2 needs a 20 if you are going with a lip. If you switch to a full face wheel I think you can get away with a 19. I have the same issue with my IS.

I am looking at the cv2 actually. I emailed my contact at Vossen and asked if he can give me an insight on when that wheel will be available in 19s. I really dont think I want to do 20s. If I did, I would just keep the wheels that i have. I don't want to do much fender work. I really don't trust anyone over here to do it...

Also, modding is going to be even slower than projected. Some financial setbacks occuring right now. Gotta get my savings up, lots of things that I'm going to need to put priority now. ::Sigh::

On another note. Installed the LEDs in the interior/trunk/license plate. I'll post pics when it gets darker out =)

I think 20s won't be that bad and lipped 19s will look small unless you super slam it. Is the shop I posted not close to you? I would have thought it would only be like an hour away. I had to drive 2.5 hours to get to them but the work was awesome and I had no clear coat cracks at all and still do not.

You can do it Tyler. Get the 20s you won't regret them. Don't you remember Brian's white TL from the last meet I organized. The lipped 20s went perfect on the TL just like they will on Kait's new TSX.

I need coils before I can get wheels. That just adds to the overall cost of the project

Honestly I forgot to check it out. I need to get on that. I just can't help but think that 20s are going to be way too big. I feel like the ride on 19s would be much more comfortable. Even though the tires are more $$ which is not fun.

Hey all!!

Well I have been getting to the mods, so now this becomes a build thread =)

Installed my LED interior lights (and license plate of course)

Tinted all four windows (and over brake light) 30% LLumar tint:

Have an appointment to drop my car on Tein Basics on April 7th, and have my RonJons picked out. Just have to sell the Vossens first =)

Haha, nah I don't need secrets. I am getting the Legends in Liquid Graphite. Probably in 19s. I just love the look of those and for the price and quality of the wheel, can't be beat.

Yeah, the popo are bad around here. I actually had my accord darker, and it was black interior so it looked really dark. But since I live in PA and have NJ plates the cops leave me alone. Thank GOD.

Liquid graphite is the way to go =) it'll look really good on a PWP. I think there are pics of the same combo on ronjon's website.

I recently ebayed "ronjon" wheels and was amazed at how affordable a set was. Plus, they are machined to fit our cars so no hub rings necessary etc. Great choice for you.

I was all about the Vossens too (my fiancee is friends with a guy that runs in their circle of friends)...South Florida, pretty much every 8th gen around here is on 20" Vossens. Personally, I'm infatuated with the VVCS1 and VVCS3's. You selling yours finally? About the 8th gen...was it a lease? Why did you sell...we've had hers for 4 years now and it's been totally problem free (probably helps that I do all maintenance on it early).

For your license plate, did you do LED? I did CCFL's on both our cars yesterday. $20 shipped for both sets and took me about 20 minutes to install. SUPER bright...like a Lexus! In case you hadn't considered.

I won't muddy up your thread with a bunch of pics, but just so you can see the brightness.

PS, it's funny, 4 pages of posts with last night being your first REAL update with pics. And you see every approach...the "show us nood picz" to the night in shining armor telling the person to chill out and give you space to the person that totally ignores the fact that your'e a really great looking girl that drives stick and mods. It's like a virtual bar in here...

...headed to being the most viewed build thread on AZ.

Haha about the n00dsz. I get it on every forum. I'm good at ignoring, lol! And thanks for the compliments.

My accord was straight cursed. It had been hit FOUR times (three were witnessed, the last was a hit and run) and each time the damn thing was parked. -.-. My friend seized the engine after running over a lamp post, which in turn ripped off my oil pan and seized my engine. (I was too drunk too drive BUT I think that I probably still could have drove better than her, lol). Also, I had H&R springs on there that made the ride horrible. Let's see, what else. Paint peeling in places because of the various impacts. Brake squeal (don't get me started -- so pissed that the TSX is doing the same thing). The cheap Honda upholstery was coming apart, especially the arm rest. I THINK that's it, lol.

Those LEDs look really good. I just know I paid by boy $35 for them and I let him put them in. Lol.

Yeah -- it is darker than I thought it would be but I really like it. It's definitely lighter than 20 though. When I took the picture it was cloudy and virtually no light shining in. But it's definitely darker than 35%. Crazy that just 5% makes that much of a difference!

Wow, really!?!? That definitely sucks...well, CHEERS for knowing when to say you're not ok to drive. Fkd oil pan is fixable...DUI's and deaths are not. And what the fk kinda bad luck did you have...4 times!!!

Well, I can tell you with my fiancee's accord...EVERY 17K miles, without fail i have to change her rear pads. ended up getting the ceramic ones from autozone with lifetime replacement including wear. Have swapped them twice already. The trick to getting them quiet is to be good about putting the CRC graphite stuff on the slides and the pins. I've gotten hers to stop squealing like that. Probably would work for the TSX too.

About the H&R's...I convinced her to let me put those on her car too...and yep, the ride is more harsh than in my car sitting much lower (on TEIN SS). I had to cut one of the dead coils off the back springs too to get it to sit more evenly...the rear looked jacked up for some reason.

About the ignoring stuff...I got that...I think that's even more appealing....hot, mods, 6 speed and has a sense of humor about the virtual gunning (think Silence of the Lambs) that goes on on these forums. You're here to stay!

$35 for LED conversion, you made out like a bandit, and it looks great!

What did you decide on suspension wise, for the TSX finally?

Well, I can tell you with my fiancee's accord...EVERY 17K miles, without fail i have to change her rear pads. ended up getting the ceramic ones from autozone with lifetime replacement including wear. Have swapped them twice already. The trick to getting them quiet is to be good about putting the CRC graphite stuff on the slides and the pins. I've gotten hers to stop squealing like that. Probably would work for the TSX too.

I'm doing Tein Basic. I don't think I need the adjustability, so I should be fine with that.

The damn brakes. I had three different shops change my Accord, and the last one that did it put on full ceramics and that worked the best. Only took a month though before it starting squealing like mad -.-

Thank you! And yes. I have three domos in my car (lol). One hanging on the rearview mirror, a badge on the windshield corner, and a pink one sitting in my backseat =)
