Hey guys! Been a member for a few years and just recently (11/09/15) picked up a 2009 Acura TSX base.



Its the second TSX I've ever owned. First one was a 1st gen:



Which I sold for a G37s 6 speed manual



Didn't like that, so I went back to Honda and picked up a 2011 Honda Accord v6 6 speed:



Missed my TSX so I sold the Accord and here we are!

My plans in the near future are:

30% tint all around
Modulo kit all around

and debating between springs and coilovers. Either going to be Eibach prokit/H&R springs or Tein basis/BC/Tein SS

Suggestions are welcome! Good to be back with Acura!

 

Welcome! You've owned some really nice cars! Really dig that 1G PWP TSX on bronze XD9s I have a set of bronze XD9s on my car and absolutely love them.

Thanks! It was the best car I've ever owned and I really do regret selling it. That thing was a low maintenance tank that never gave me any issues.

 

what didn't you like about the G37?

 

Was not a fan of the transmission. I honestly enjoyed the Accord's 6 speed transmission more than the g37s'

Everything else was super nice about the car though.

 

Man, that 1G TSX never goes out of style. Especially when tastefully modded - as yours was. Hopefully you enjoy your 2G just as much!

 

Nice! How is the power coming from a G37 and V6 Accord?

 

I would miss the power for sure from a Accord v6 and G37 lol

 

Big time drop in power. But I realized I'm not really the speed freak type. I find myself more of the cruising type. I mean, it was nice to have all that power at my disposal, but it wasn't for me honestly.

You know, ill be damned. THEY ARE ILX wheels. When I bought the car last week I was wondering what kind of rims they were. Thanks for clearing that up!
