Sold the xxr 521s, i never ran them.. just sat there. look around and found something I actually like...
Im now running, Varrstoen ES 2.2.1 18x9.5 all around +12
in black, gonna keep them black for now... till i get bored then ill mess around with the colors. Plastidip most likely so i can peel and re paint different colors down the road.

100% AGREED... every single one of my fenders are poopy... i didnt pay a professional.. instead i let my homeboy do it for free LOL... Deff will be running spacers soon. but right now i rub in the back really bad. Im looking, and where is this "tab" that everyone shaves off? im thinking thats whats causing all that rubbing.

Offset is calculated the same but since the wheels are 18's, they're much easier to fit as opposed to 19's with the same offset.

Back with more pictures. Nothing new, just Houstons weather has been really nice so I gave my car a nice wash and wax.
Already got tired of the black wheels lol... What color should I paint them guys?! MC you think you can PS some colors onto the wheels to gimmie and idea of what i should do? I was thinking... tiffany blue(somewhere along the lines of that color) or a that flat kinda looking grey.. like the color of primer?? I don't know... gimmie some ideas guys!

Looks real good man! even though I cant actually see any of your wheels, i like the stance. As for color suggestions, how about a red, orange, or blue? And did you remove the chrome trunk strip? I still havent been able to remove mine. How did you do it?!?

 

Tiffany blue looks pretty sweet in the chop!

 

It's clipped in. Peel back the trunk lid liner and youll be able to use a screw driver or something to pop them out. I left mine on, just vinyled over it.

 

Thanks man! hmm those do sound like good colors, hahah but those are like colors that POP, i dont wanna stick out that much haha, but we'll see, i have tiffany blue lugnuts coming in, i need something that would go well with those lolol.

as for the chrome strip, like op said its clipped in. just have to use a little force and it'll pop right out, it might feel like it'll break, but just pull on it. I did that for one side, i yanked it out, for the other side i did what Op suggested with the screwdriver. i wrapped a screwdriver with a towel, so i wouldnt damage the paint or anything else, and just stuck it in the gap, and pried it out. should come right out!

Thanks! it feel as if its not low enough if i can make it up my drive way haha. i can make it up and down with ease. which means... need more low!

Back with another update! I got bored with the matte black wheels, tried something new! I went with matte white instead, and i gotta say im liking the white a lot! what do you guys think??
