Spend a few hours on a weekend to get it up to par...then it's just a half hour here and there to maintain...
I do the interior separate from the exterior so I am not so tired and annoyed by the time I finish the 2nd thing.
It's easy to let it go but before you know it it looks like a turd. I don't mind sleeping a little less and washing it
before heading to work...then you don't even really have to dry off if you have a highway drive to work.
Saturday -
1. Heavy wash w/ Meguiar's Deep Crystal car wash liquid, 2 buckets 1 hose.
2. Detail wash w/ Optimum No Rinse, smells good too.
3. Claybar w/ Meguiar's Quick Detailer.
4. Another wash w/ Optimum No Rinse to get the clay and QD funk off, still smells delicious.
Sunday -
5. Another wash w/ Optimum No Rinse, dry w/ Cobra Supreme Guzzler Waffle Weave towel.
6. Light hood polish w/ Chemical Guys V38 & Orange Pad.
7. Wolfgang WG-5500 Deep Gloss Sealant all over.
8. Chemical Guys Better Butter Wax all over.
Literally, as I wiped off the last remnants of wax from the car, the rain started. Beeeeeeedzz.
Need to do the door jams and wheels/tires still, but that's as good as it gets for a while.

Looks beautiful. And agree the rain made for impressive beading!
Makes me wonder if Acurazine has a "what I did to the TSX today" thread like some other forums. I got a lot of great ideas and inspiration from threads like that on bimmerfest and the e46 forums. I should probably GTS and quit threadjacking your build page, but in the mean time, I followed your lead and did a bit of clay bar, polish, wax, and engine scrubby scrubby for good measure. Just in time for it to start raining the next day here as well.
P.S. I promise I'll stop threadjacking after this post.
P.S.S. Thanks for not carrying that 2 buckets 1 hose analogy too much further.

Good job... But aren't you supposed to do the wheels and jambs first? You know why...
Heh, timely... I was rethinking about picking up a set of 20mm spacers to visualize how some new offset would look.
And then I've been more recently reconsidering my eventual plans of wider 18s with a drop... I may be thinking about wider 17s with stock height and some beefaroni tires. These Yokohama S-Spurts are kinda thicc and make me want more cake.
So yeah, like and suscribe. Hit up my gofundem and buy my bathwater.
My favorite look these days is whatever the nicest OEM wheel the brand makes on the car.
She's a fat bitch though, 18's for sure...even with a thick tire...

You guys know I've never swapped wheels... But I agree... If I were to swap wheels one on or both of my cars I'd be going OEM for sure!
No worries of needing tuner lugs and having aftermarket center caps and all!
Not a damn thing happening with this dirty girl. I had to run a rescue mission down to Galveston, and got the rare opportunity to park the Mommywagon next to the Road Pig on the beach. First, and probably last, time the wagon will see the beach.
