Just removed the amber! I liked the look of the chrome on the inside of the light! Easiest part was baking haha. Did take a while but well worth it in the end!

Where did you get your center caps?

I notice that they're indented into the cap unlike ours. Is it from the first gen?

Yeah they are from the first gen. I forget the website but they sell centercaps from a bunch of different cars. Got for about twenty bucks. Had to be indented so I could paint them.

Centercaps.net Very reliable, they come used but if you are pairing them then it doesn't really matter in the end.

Hmm, what kinda of paint did you use? How did you do it so perfectly?!

I was going with a white/blue theme for my car and centercaps like that may be something I might look into...haha

Well sir... Grab that Vaseline that's been sitting next to your computer, get a small brush or q-tip and wipe down the centercaps being careful not to get it in the "A" then spray paint the cap. Once it dries, wipe down the surface and you should have a clean blue embossed centercap.

looks great, the only thing killing it is the front license plate being mounted. I won't even buy cars if they have drilled the front bumper.

Not drilled, comes with mounting brackets. When I graduate it will come off. Lol but once that happens an Acura won't be the nicest car I have anymore either haha

Very nice.

The Euro Type S has the red ambient lights also.

Not sure if it was the angle on the picture, but the handbrake seems a bit high? Are the brake and clutch pedals covered with sports pedals?

Yeah they are sport pedals, and there is actually a reason it's pulled high lol. During the first couple of months I was at the movies when the police called me and told me there was a problem in the parking lot. Apparently my car rolled out into the street. Luckily someone was kind enough to stop it from Rollin too far. Ends up the cable was not doing it's job and engaging the brake even when it was pulled at the normal level. So I fixed it but I guess it's habit to make sure it's pulled enough as well as keeping it in first gear when I park.

did you get it checked at the dealership? then again I pull mine and I have an auto lol. I constantly have friends asking why I pull the E-brake on an auto. just habit when I learned to drive manual lol and I've seen autos fail when their ebrake arent pulled.

Yeah the dealership tightened it, or something. I was lucky nothing bad happened. Made me realize the advantage of having a manual though. Just one more safety to keep it from rolling when you leave it in gear.

really like the painted rotors, seems like an easy cheap mod. did you just degrease and then paint the stock calipers with some high temp paint?

Well yes to the calipers, no I didn't paint the rotors. But, you can search my user name and see the thread I posted a couple of months ago!

HOWEVER *SPOILER ALERT* I am buying some cross drilled rotors very soon! Firstly it will look bad ass, secondly I hope it will once and for all fix the brake problem! Pictures within the next few weeks or so! Still wanna plastidip my rims, but we will see.....

Very nice TSX. This is my first post. I just purchased an "11. I bought it for my wife, we have plans to do a few mods to it starting with the looks. We have had the car for a few weeks now and we only have one complaint. What in the world was Acura thinking when they put all the chrome on this car. Which leads me to....

How did you modify or where did you get your grille? I don't know if it is the difference in years or yours is aftermarket but it is different then the "11. Similar but different. Enlighten me.........Love the look!

It's really not that hard to do. I didn't know what I was doing when I did mine but with patience I did it. Read my DIY.

The 09-10 had the famous "beak grille". For '11 there was a refresh and the grille was changed to be a little bit more refined

acktl05 is a vendor here and will help you out in central jersey. ecko508 is a massive tool located in massachusets area and is most likely out of your way

Yeah your '11 has a modified version of the '09. To "unchrome" there are a couple of options. I bought some 3M DiNoc Carbon Fiber vinyl and wrapped the front, and decided to plastidip the smiley face part. Other members have gone with paint matched grilles. No wrong way to go, you will realize which colors look best for paint mach and which don't. Happy Modding, and Welcome!

Unfortunately, many states require front plates by law, so some of us have to suffer through having them! My dealer has an undermounted bracket that doesn't require drilling through the bumper.

That being said...CHOOSING to put a front plate on just to sport the UCF logo...that's a different story! lol
