Spring detail:

Not sure if I should put the side skirts on. I'll have to keep looking at pics that have the full kit on and make a decision. LMK what you guys think. I also noticed that the rear sport bumper is definatly not a 100% match but you can only really tell when you get up close or at certain angles when the flake reflects differently.

Also, the deck lip spoiler is not OEM. I got the off of ebay. Color matches perfectly and it does look exactly like OEM (including the small "crease" that runs the entire length), but you pay for it in fitment. I decided not to drill thru the trunklid and just put extra tape on. It sticks on there pretty good with just tape. The ebay spoiler is not very flexible so the ends like to pop up if you're not careful.

I took a bunch more artsy fartsy pics, I'll post them after I sort them out.

Enjoy!

I like your setup thunderbt3, very tasteful.

Leave the side skirt off. I have the rear sports bumper as well as the Modulo Sports grill, can't decide if I want the aero front bumper like yours or put on a front lip spoiler like ImpressInk on his CBP.

So not only is Palladium the fastest color, it's also the best-looking! Ha!!!

I think you definitely need the side skirts.

Car looks great though. Once again, I love the aero kit on that color.

your car is coming along nicely.

I vote for getting the side skirts on--looks unfinished without it.

I'd also throw some rims on there. I never really liked the look of skirt packages with OEM wheels.

I would still tape it even if you do drill it. It will prevent it from rattling loose and protection if the nuts do rattle loose. The lip does come with tape but I suggest cutting some channels in the tape to allow for water drainage. I learned that the hard way. I cleaned the trunk, was able to get the tips to stick perfectly and everything looked great. I washed the car the next day and found there was a pool sitting on the trunk from the new lip. I didnt want to deal with that when I was the car or when it rains so I pulled the spoiler off, put new tape on, and made sure there was drainage channels.

The way its on there, its fine now. No big deal if the tips pop up again, I'll just pull it off and put new tape on. I'm using the 3M gray double stick mounting tape you can find at hardware stores and automotive shops.

Buttery........I like this grille a lot, and I don't really understand how we can think of something that looks aestetically better, fabricate it in our garages and modify the look, yet the actual Acura designers fumble on the new (aka beak) look.

Oddly enough though, the new beak is starting to look "okay" with me....except on the MDX - what used to be a great example of a good luxury SUV now looks like a Kia...ugh! Hopefully 2012/13 gets a new body for that model
