Got around to plasti dipping my grill yesterday, ill be meeting up with pyro next week to do the window trim, door handles, and possibly the roof. Dropped the car off this morning at the shop to get the megan mufflers installed, should have it back this afternoon!

kinda f'd up when peeling off the excess in one spot of the grill. not to bad and barely noticeable. also the bottom of the emblem but also barely noticeable. ill have to redo it eventually but for now its fine

if it's that easy to peel, wouldn't it come off easy? or you let it dry completely then it's fine?

if it is done right, it should tuck into all the grooves and edges, and wont come off even with a power wash. a brush will take it off though. once it starts to peel though, its kinda like tape in the sense of, it will keep peeling more and more. to remove it, you just pull it off, and it feels like a balloon or plastic trash bag

yup. im driving down friday. and im porb not going to lower her for a couple years. im a broke college kid and blew the last of my "car mod fund" on these mufflers :/

here are some pics of the megan racing mufflers installed. they are rather large lol. the shop had to cut some piping off and make a new pipe and they welded support braces to the pipes to be able to support the heavy mufflers. its sounds amazing! far beyond my expectations! ill post a sound clip soon. these are crappy iphone pics. my friend took some nice pics down at the beach and ill post them when he sends them to me

Ed I did the exact same thing to my turn signals but in clear plastidip, which looked almost the same as his. Only you said you didnt like mine

bigman, it would have probably saved you 30 minutes of masking off to just pop out the bottom bumper reflectors to paint them =\

^ yeah but your's looked like condensation or foggyness. You can tell he was going for the tint. Which is pretty good by the way. It's hard to get an even coat when your are going that light. Also those bumper reflectors look great. You got a nice theme going on!!
