So you have to have a professional install this? How would you do the airbag and stuff??

Gonna do it myself. All I need is to rent a steering wheel puller from Advance or Pep boys. Everything like the airbag, buttons, and trim will transfer over. There's also a pretty detailed sport steering wheel install pdf out there too.

Hope Ben don't mind me answer this question. The steering wheel wrapping can be done at this link

Can't wait to see it Ben. BTW I saw you this morning 270 southbound at 7:20 am. I wish I can drop it that low but my mugen aero kit makes it look lower.

Thanks for replying Z. Total cost with shipping is just a wee bit shy of $400 + the cost of an extra wheel I sourced from ebay. The specs are alcantera and perforated leather combo with extra padding (1/8") to give it that Euro look and feel like that on the M and AMG cars. How was traffic down near the split this morning Z?

no need to rent a puller. Just loosen the 14 in the center slightly and pull from opposite corners of the wheel till it comes loose. dont take the bolt out then do it though. make sure to not let the cable reel inside spin or it could snap when you turn the wheel end to end.

Traffic was not that bad. I always get off on Falls Road to and drop my daughter at school. My average is a hour commute coming from Urbana. The reason I knew it was you because of your carbon trim on the rear quarter panel.

That would be me It's my usual morning dropping off of the wife at SG metro with the 2 little ones in tow. Once in a while I would take the MDX with the Hello Kitty holding an AK and lil Stig stickers in the rear windshield.

Thanks! I rolled and pulled the fenders carefully myself so there are no signs of any alterations.

Just finished talking with Don( great guy) and I think I'm leaning on 1/16 padding instead 1/8, but I will wait to see yours first. The 1/8 padding is more for sport looking and I don't think the RL can pull that out. Also I will be adding the thumbrest(extra $100)

Nah.. A full camber kit (front/back) is next. I also want to look into a head swap provided we have a tune for our ECUs. Exploring the possibilities of a K20A (RSX Type-S) head swap with a matching ECU and harness.

Yeah, I was wondering if that's why you added the carbon fiber rear fender flares. Because of the rear quarter panel not lining up with the rear bumper perfectly anymore.

Quick update. The steering wheel arrived today. OMFG! It's badass! The workmanship is excellent. The rim is noticeably thicker and feels like an upgraded BMW M wheel. Hoping to install it in the next couple of days. Z, if hit me if you want to stop by and check it out.

It's a slippery slope here... Short answer is yes to the emissions warranty. As for rest of the power train, "they" have to make a scientific argument as to how the removal of the 2nd cat is harmful to the engine and etc.

Here we go... Installed.. Took me less than an hour with the right tools (Steering wheel puller, cordless impact wrench, torx bits, panel puller, and phiilips screw driver). Let me say, the steering wheel is BADASS!!!
