I'm actually starting to dig the TSX more than the new TL. All they need now is just a V6 in there with AWD. =)

It's nice to see someone being able to admit that the new design is growing on them I knew this was going to happen for alot of people, some saw the potential in the 09 TSX sooner than others and some will still never like it at all...and that is fine!! All I am saying is that this seem to happen so many time and the folks in the TL section are going through rejection period and slowly but surely, it will change there too!! YOu have to give credit to Acura for pushing the design envelop (although sometime I think they should put more newer technology and not just their design....such as 6/7 auto tranny etc.). I saw a car show here in Canada and they BASHED the 2009 Corolla because it was so UN-inspiring...a mini camary and nothing else! They were praising the bold step Honda took with their civic and how that car was already out for 2 years and was still ahead technologically and design wise over this new Corolla!! So I think what Acura/Honda does is push the envolp (with is risky) but when it pays off, it pays off big time as the model stays fresher for much longer...look at how much people still love the 3gen TL and the 1st gen TSX !!!

So pretty much you're trying to say is, you thought the 09 TSX was ugly....until you saw the new 09 TL.

I like it... I just don't love the new TSX.

When I saw the First Gen for the first time, I was crazy about it. This one, it's still taking time to grow on me...

I do like the Carbon Grey Pearl color, though... Looks sharp

AWD is a bit of a waste considering that man places can get by with just FWD. I too would love AWD but with the car I drive currently and the place I live...its really not needed. It has saved my but a couple times but more so just for fun like taking turns going 40mph.

These are OEM 18inch chrome. I had the same.
You can swapped the 17 inch with 18inch with little more price.
Most dealers have Yokoham Advan sport tires which are $50 more expensive than 17inch michellin.

ohh thanks. Its either these pictures or that I cannot tell the difference between the Chrome and the Ebony.

How much did you pay on top to switch to these rims?

I want my 20 minutes back. This so-called pic thread just wasn't that...a pic thread. Anyways, I saw one up close and personal at Costco this morning. Ah man...I think it was Palladium something metallic. I think I fell in love. I was considering buying the 08 TL, but the style is growing on me...even the grill! The TSX I saw had 18's I think.

I would say that a VW GLI would be similar to the TSX. It is faster and a bit more "edgy" and with the luxury amenties inside, it is equivalent in features and price. And the DSG, that i have in my GTI also, is incredible compared to the 5-speed? auto in the TSX, heck, compared to any other auto/manumatic/automated manual out there. Short of PDK maybe.

I wanted to remove the "TSX" but my brother (who's sharing the payments) wanted left on. I just finished putting a fresh coat of Meguiar's High-Tech Yellow Wax.

BTW, I'm using my sister's 2.5S 17's. My OEM's are for Winter and I'm waiting for the weather to be more consistent before I drop my 19's.

Both the 1st and 2nd gen TSX's are sweet rides (owned both). If you own one, consider yourself to be among the fortunate.
