I would love to see how this car would look slammed.

Where in the bay are you located?

It was a NOM NOM NOM rabbit that I found on Google... if they don't want hotlinking then they should configure their server correctly.

Edit: wtf, it's a CS student's website... of all people he/she should know how to do it.

They're holding up fine after nearly 2 years. I will note, however, that I've driven less than 11k miles in that time, so obviously YMMV (no pun intended). I think derwoodEE has more "normal" mileage on his Eibachs.

I am a fan of Eibach and I believe that even with high mileage, they will not reduce the life of the stock dampers.

gosh, we had so much discussion before on whether or not it was a good idea, googling for horror stories didnt help, but like you and some1 else mentioned, derwood has had em for 2 years now.

It is super tempting.

You enjoy the ride over stock?

I do. Just this past Friday I took a drive up in the Berkeley Hills and it was pure fun. With the stock springs and the associated body roll, I was not confident at all taking on the twisties. The Eibachs take care of that, plus nosedive when braking, and whatever else they list in their marketing materials.

In terms of ride comfort, I did not notice a difference immediately after having them installed. Over time, though, I would say that you definitely feel the bumps more.

Another thing to consider is that I got my wheels and springs at the same time, so it's difficult to attribute issues with the ride to the springs/wheels with certainty.

I would say that if you are on the fence about getting them, just go for it. They're only a couple of hundred bucks and the potential benefit outweighs the cost, IMHO.

Thanks, I'm removing the grille because my lease ends in September and I am planning to return the car. I agree that the OEM one grows on you. At this point I think it looks better than the CT-E grille.

Nah, even if I don't actually own a TSX I think I'll always be a part of the TSX community.

did you ever need a camber kit or did you make do with an alignment?

sorry to be a broken record on these springs but seeing your car makes me really want them O_O

I do not believe that a camber kit is absolutely necessary, but if I had to do it over I would get the camber kit. I just prefer the visual appeal of having all 4 wheels perpendicular to the ground.

I had the car aligned a week after the springs were installed. The alignment didn't really do anything (before/after were pretty much the same) but I think that's just luck of the draw. It's possible to mess up your alignment when installing.

My tires are doing just fine, though I did find a nail in one yesterday and had to get it patched (the kind where they stick a T-shaped tool in your tire). I have about 2 degrees of negative camber and I rotate my tires regularly, and other than the nail everything's been great.

Thank you for your comments. If you have some spare cash and time, I say go for it. I understand that you're in college... maybe tell yourself if you get an A on your next midterm, you'll buy yourself some springs.

Saw another TSX parked near mine at lunch today so I snuck in some (crappy Nokia) pics, stock vs. eibach/19s:

i have the same set up in my car with Eibach in the ride its very nice but i have to put a cambert kit on the rear because my tires start making a lot of noise so i use a spc cambert kit an replace the 2 rear tires + alignment an the noise was gone but the only problem is to high in the front i wish that the front looks like the rear i'm thinking to buy TEIN Basics to lower the car more in the front

Counting down the days until we say goodbye, and cherishing every remaining moment:

Not sure why some dumbass Accord had to come up and kiss my ass right when I was taking my photo. My car was the only one on the block...

Does anyone want the CF grill? It's just taking up space in my house. Would prefer a local pickup but I could also ship if someone pays for shipping. Send me a PM. Please, no new users with 0 posts, thank you.

Mods, apologies in advance if this violates any rules, but I'm not selling to make a profit, just giving something away. Thanks!
