Ok so today i purchased a k20 valve cover powdercoated candy red. To my surprise it did not fit. It hang over The head on The timing chain side by at least a quarter inch. Every thing else lined up perfectly. So i did some searching and found a posting online about The differences of our k24z3 and previous k series motors. There are many differences The valve cover is shorter. I am posting this information so no one makes The same mistake i did. Now i am trying to find a loaner or spare valve cover so i can send mine out for powdercoating. Sucks!
