TSX Wagon Exhaust??

I have a TSX wagon and I would like to install an aftermarket exhaust. I know there are several companies that carry exhaust system for the JDM Accord Tourer (Fujitsubo, Mugen) but the JDM wagon rear bumper is shorter than the USDM wagon. I don't want the exhaust tip to recess behind my exhaust cutout.

The TSX sedan overall length is 185.6in and Wagon overall length is 189.2in... I hate to spend $1500 on Fujitsubo exhaust only to find out that the exhaust don't fit properly.... any tip is much appreciated.

I know there was a mugen on a wagon but i cant recall the fujitsubo.

Heel Toe sells the fujitsubo for the wagon. Get him to check.

I was told fujitsubo is extremely loud fwiw maybe thats what you want.

I know this is an old thread, but I have the same question. I realize the JDM wagon, even with the shorter bumper would still be longer than a CU2 correct? Heeltoe's listing gives the impression that Fujitsubo sells an exhaust specifically for the wagon, but the part number is the same for the CU2 version. I asked this question on their website and have yet to receive a response.

The idea of having to spend $1500 on an exhaust and then another $1200 for a JDM bumper just so it maybe doesn't melt and to have a properly fitting exhaust that I don't have to cut up is pretty scary.

Fujitsubo exhaust will fit but comes up short. Your best bet is a custom exhaust. Or get the desired exhaust you want and see about extending the tips. Bolt on kits for the cw2 in the USA are not in that much demand wich sucks because I want one too lol.

Go with some Apexi WS2 universal mufflers. They have some with offset inlets, but their tips are 8" long, which makes clearing the rear bumper on a wagon that much easier!!! They sound incredible, same type of mufflers that Greddy uses on their systems.

That's an interesting idea. I could just use those for now and then go back with custom mandrel tubing to connect to those if I ever felt like I needed to free up any hidden micro ponies lost in the stock piping.

I just put them on my Sedan, the length was a little tough to fit on the sedan, but would be more than adequate to make it look right on the Wagon!!! Plus, they sound fantastic!

Nah, there's nothing there. The stock system is actually pretty well made. From the cat back it's basically a straight shot to the split; nothing wonky. Frankly, when comparing the stock cat back to the EndlessRPM cat back, they're about the same layout and weight. All you really buy is noise.

Replacing the cans is probably the most efficient way. And keeping the stock resonator probably helps keep the drone down compared to what you get with a full aftermarket cat back.

If I had it to do over again, I'd probably just replace the mufflers.

Do you have any pictures? My muffler guy doesn't think they will fit based on the measurements Apex'i has on their website. Also, did you have to have hangers welded directly to the cans?

Tanabe Medallion Exhaust

I bought the Tanabe Medallion cat-back exhaust from Marcus at Heeltoe Automotive. They offer four cat-back exhausts: 1) Greddy Supreme SP; 2) Tanabe Medalion Touring; 3) Endless RPM and 4) Fujitsubo Legalis R. I eventually chose the Tanabe exhaust for price, dual wall on the exhaust tips and claims to be under 93 db at all rpms. I know it's subjective when listening to sound clips on YouTube but in my opinion, has none of the raspiness sound which I didn't want. I'm a newbie here as far as posting anything but I've taken some pics in the parking lot to give you an idea what the exhaust looks like on a wagon. The exhaust sound is noticeable but not obnoxious. It's got a lower grunt and not the high pitch raspiness. My only dislike it that the tips do not extend far enough in the cut-outs from the lower bumper to be seen. The tips (which are angled) are about 2 3/4" from the end of the cut-out which I used a dollar bill as measurement. Cutting and extending the tips about 3" would be a shame IMO. Checking out Heeltoe's website... this exhaust also fits the sedan which is why I believe the tips are more recessed when installed on a wagon. No aftermarket is going to make a exhaust for a wagon that's only sold in the U.S. for 4 years from 2011-2014. I've included some pics of my wagon and exhaust.

My cars:
2011 Acura TSX Tech Sportwagon
2003 Acura CL-S 6-speed manual
1989 Honda CR-X Si

If anyone can show me some mods that other members have done to the stock front grill or beak without having to change it entirely... please share. Thanks!

Mods so far:
1) KW Suspension
2) SPC control arms
3) 18" Volk GT-U's
4) Tanabe cat-back exhaust
5) GTR LED DRL/Highbeam
6) GTR LED Back-up lights
7) Alla LED yellow fog lights

Yeah, I was thinking the JDM bumper would solve or at least help the issue since it looks to be shorter and lower profile, but hopefully someone who has one can confirm that.

This is how the Tsudo exhaust sits on the wagon. It was 100% bolt on from the cat back.

Figures. My guess is all of them will fit the same. Based on youtube clips I am leaning towards the GReddy. Maybe I'll get it first and the JDM bumper later. If you guys start noticing your bumpers melting please let us know.

I did notice the paint looked like it was blistered a bit from my old upsized exhaust tips. Haven't noticed any new blistering but I will keep an eye on it.
