The tone is low and deep, doesn't drone loudly, doesn't sound like fart. To me yes but!!!! I will be asking for a huge partial refund.

One of the hangers supplied was way too small and the other one fit but had circular nuts... how the eff do you tighten those. So i went to advance and bought 2 new hangers. about 3.50 each

Second the passenger muffler tip was welded to point down... I do not recommend anyone to buy this unless they are willing to have a professional redo the welds on that.

I will contact the seller soon and try to get as much reimbursement as possible.

I will be keeping it

Oh yeah no cats were removed. My stock exhaust had the vibrant resonator to get rid of the rasp from the rv-6 pipe. Seriously everything looks the same but the pipe is 2.5in instead of 2.25 (idk how much of a difference that makes). The mufflers are still 2in.

Are the mufflers straight through or bafled like the stock mufflers, because the mufflers are the restriction not the pipe, and I think it sounds much better, how about some more sound clips

I got a good partial refund. A total of $95 so paying a little under 300 was pretty worth it for me. But idk if other will want to pay full price for this. The sound is not bad at all. Sounds pretty good to me and it doesn't sound annoying. My friend says its not loud and makes my engine sound quieter which I would have to agree on. It's more low growll

^ I personally HATE magnaflows. It may just be my experience but my friend installed the magnaflow mufflers on his corolla and damn I had a headache going anywhere with him. It was a drone machine. Maybe it was just him but from that experience I have been avoiding that brand since.

I originally wanted to get the ct-e mufflers and have a shop slap them on but they were never in stock whenever I asked them.

BTW if people didn't already know it's really hard to pick up the sound you actually hear on tape.

The Corolla probably had 0 mid mufflers, you can end up with a drone like that.

It's not just the parts, it is how they are implemented that can lead to a bad experience like that.

Inside of stock muffler

aftermarket

IDK what that "disk" thing is at the end of the aftermarket. Not sure if it's restricting anything but the car feels normal to me.

Are these mufflers shooting out metal dust or something? I don't recall them looking like that

It might be the iron wool getting knocked loose, it may be of low quality??

That looks like an awful surface finish to me!!!

But...

It could also be some type of thermal barrier coating to increase longevity of your mufflers

But...

It's an eBay exhaust so I doubt it.

It's the break-in period of your exhaust...Also any shavings left in the muffler(s) are being exhausted out. Give it about 300-500 miles, but try to remove, if you really care, the metal shaving...otherwise will burn in on your exhaust tips.

For the right muffler and tip you might want to try this out baozzer

http://item.mobileweb.ebay.com/viewi...d=190817937868

You can possibly raise the right or lower the left hangars to make it flush and even on both sides for cheap and with no muffler shop visit
