Supercharging!!
Supercharging!!
I am planning on getting the CT engineering Supercharger for my 2012 TSX SE.
I have been scared to do this because I wasnt too sure about the reliability since it is my daily driver, but what I have been reading it seems like its definitely safe. I will contact VIT about the tune in order to actually start the car of course, but is there anything else you guys recommend? Bigger injectors, and if so what kind? different pulley (it might come with one idk). I am also gonna get some spark plugs.
Here are the performance mods I have done to my car already -
Hondata Flashpro Tuned
Injen CAI
Skunk2 Header
Magnaflow Mufflers (Not full exhaust)
1.3" Drop

If its reliability you're going for, I would stick with the stock pulley and injectors that the SC kit comes with. I would also suggest to get the rv6 down pipe and high flow cat(or test pipe for more power but bad for emissions). You will need the NGK (1422) ILKR8E6 spark plugs. You will also need a wideband kit. Hondata recommends PLX Devices widebands.
Im very happy with my setup and very reliable. I have stage 1.
If you decide to go stage 2, reliability will vary and the cost of the whole package will go up because you will need an aftercooler kit, bigger injectors, smaller pulley and an aftermarket clutch to hold the extra power. With stage 2, I strongly suggest LSD for optimal traction.

also, SSJoe has a huge thread covering this topic. not trying to thread jack, but just letting you know bro. he has a lot of good info on his thread. (from when he started all the way up to his stage 2 kit)
