So this is a "mod" that I actually do to all my car is Super Super Cheap and you still maintain the stock look under the hood. I'm very surprise how much louder this is vs my old 08 accord V6, on the TSX you can hear it as soon as you press the gas pedal on the accord I would need to floor it to hear it lol and also I replaced the factory air filter with a drop in K&N filter.

KN filter wont provide more gains or gas mileage.

on the 3G TL side, the stock paper air filter OUTFLOWS the throttle body at WOT.
Not sure if this is the same case with I4, but it definitely is true for the six cylinder version of the TSX.
Also, the KN filter doesnt FILTER as good as the stock filter.

 

you mean the resonator? yea i had that disconnected off my old tsx and for a while i was like "wow did the dealership add in some intake that i didn't know about" then i open the hood and see that it's disconnected and just hanging out. i reconnected it and it's a lot quieter.

 

i've had this on my car for a while, as have several members. its offered as part of my HID foglight install special. right kait and moaarlow??

You have to take intake res out if you want to put in an aftermarket air intake anyways.

But yea, I did this to my TL long ago, made it really loud, loved it
