Bad news guys...... The ported intake is out of stock, but the TBS has shipped. I don't want to have a dyno done until I have both pieces installed. I spoke with Mark via PM and he's gonna see what he can do as far as shipping the manifold directly to me from the manufacturer.

Can't wait for the dyno.

I actually bought the thermal spacer and installed it. With all the work I wished I ordered the ported runners too so it would be a one time install. Anyway I don't think the thermal gasket alone helped a lot because coolant still runs through the runners and still conducts heat to it, Yes its lesser heat but I don't see much benefit from it.
P.S.- When I removed my runners I had to remove the upper left most stub to get it out coz Honda left a useless piece of extra aluminum tab that makes it harder to remove than it should be. I don't see it in that guys accord on the DIY though. Maybe it was just my unit that they were too lazy to grind the freak'n thing off. Oh, and I had to re-drill the bolt holes on the P2R thermal gasket coz they did not line up properly. Just giving anybody planning to do this DIY a heads up.

Thanks for the heads up bro.... When it comes to doing work under the hood I leave that to the professionals, lol! I don't wanna jack anything up, especially knowing that I'm not modification savvy to begin with. As soon as both parts arrive I'll let the community know along with detailed pictures and dyno results.

There's a downpipe that P2R has put out as well, I just installed it on my 2010 accord. I'm 99% sure it should fit. Hit up mark from throwdown and see if he can cut you a deal for being the test dummy. I show you pics of the flanges of the p2r/oem downpipe and as long as yours are the same then its a sure fit.

I also ordered the P2R Fuel Rail for the k24 engines figuring some extra gas would be useful considering all of the increased airflow i have from ported runners, tb spacer and the comptech icebox. I was told I was going to get minimal if any results without fuel injectors or tuning of some kind. Welllll let me just say I was blown the fuck away and almost jizzed in my pants. The gains i felt from the fuel rail where amazing. So if you're serious about power mods I highly reccomend both. Just make sure you only do the fuel rail after you have intake/tb spacer/runners.

Hopefully some aftermarket intake manifolds will be available soon too.

Here's some pix and OG poster should just change the thread title to P2R performance reviews.

@Keak how hard was it to install the fuel rail? And how did you take off the crazy looking bolts from the down pipe?

Any reason you chose to go with the P2R vs the Skunk2 composite rail?

Other than consistency throughout the engine bay?

It was a 30 minute install done with a jack and jackstands so it was a tight fit and me and my buddy took a break or two from cramped necks. If you where to do it on a lift it would be a 15-20 minute job. Bolts where all super easy to get off. Anyone worried about emissions shouldn't be, they hit you with testing then take 30 minutes to swap them out and you're good.

I didn't see a skunk2 one out for our cars, if I did I probably would have still gotten p2r for consistency and since they are the ones making all the parts for our cars I much rather put more money in their pockets so they can keep making more goodies for us.

I already have a Takeda intake installed. In addition to the ported intake runners and TBS that's already on the way, I'm going to buy the fuel rail as well as the lightweight 2pcs pulley set. I'm trying to get a few extra HP out of the car but maintain the clean, luxury look....... Just in case some mofo roll up on me I can drop the hammer on him

Pretty much, only issue I had is theres a sensor to the left of the stock fuel rail that gets screwed into the runner. The p2r fuel rail is much bigger and makes it impossible to screw that sensor back into that same spot so I ended up just wedging it in there no screw. It's a tight fit and doesn't move so no big deal I think. But thats on the accord engine, your guys' engine may have the sensor else where i'm not sure but it'll work regardless.

If anyone plans on doing this the only thing I cuation is to do it all carefully and have lots of rags ready to clean up the gas. I would start by pulling out each injector one by one and slowly draining it. Also if you do happen to spill any gas inside the engine bay grab some windex and spray it in there, i've been told it neutralizes the gas.

Haters gonna hate. I got hated on for being the first and only accord to fit the comptech icebox into our car. I just laugh at it all. It's my money and my car. If I feel gains and am happy with them it's all that matters.

Lol I'll feel honored when I actually deserve it. Maybe after I get my buddy club grounding kit in that reportedly adds 5 to the wheels and then I dyno all the mods together. Then maybe I'll start accepting pats on the back

Would this be the Skunk2 fuel rail for our cars? :o
Just making sureeeeee.

http://www.skunk2.com/mm5/merchant.m...de=350-05-5010

Thanks guys

EDIT: Also, this wouldn't fit our Euros as well yeah?
http://www.skunk2.com/mm5/merchant.m...de=309-05-0095
I don't get the idea of the TBS as how does that improve our performance? I can understand how that ^ improves our performance... bigger whole = more air? Or is it the same with the TBS.

Furthermore, would the Skunk2 fuel rail be 'the same' as the P2R fuel rail or better/worse?

TBS helps air stay cooler entering the engine, and holy crap those parts are expensive

I'm local in Parker, CO. If you wanted to do the install, I would be willing to get down on it with you if you wanted to come by on a weekend I should have all the tools and then some necessary to do it. I just installed P2R intake runners on my v6 Accord this weekend, was a fun install not overly challenging. I assume the 4 cylinder runner install would be a bit easier. Let me know if you're interested in doing it.

Sounds great bro... Two questions, how far is Parker from the Springs and is there any decent eye candy out there?

Parker is 45 minutes from Academy in the springs. As far as decent eye candy goes I couldn’t tell you, I’m engaged. Did you receive the TB spacer and runners yet or are you still waiting for them to arrive?

When I ordered them there wasn't a estimated delivery time and I didn't want to wait so I cancelled them. I'll have to reorder soon, when they have them in stock for sure.
