OEM Body Kit Question
OEM Body Kit Question
Hello,
I'm getting a dent fixed at my dealership's collision center. I figured this is a good time to just order the OEM body kit since they're taking off the back bumper anyways. I got the estimate to install all 4 parts (front, sides & back) and it comes to close to $500 in labor fee. That cost just doesn't feel right at all.
I went to the Acura dealership to see how it looks installed and it doesn't seem too difficult to do myself. It looks like I just need to align the parts and screw it on. Does anybody have any experience? Do I need cut anything out?

The rear bumper took me around 30 minutes to install myself. It came with instructions and was very straight forward. Here is a video of it being removed
The side skirts might take a little longer, I haven't installed them so I am not sure on time. Check out these threads:

Definitely do it yourself.. I bought the 2-piece front under spoilers already and just trying to find some time to get it done. Skirts will be harder, but if you imagine the money savings; it's really a no brainer if you're even remotely competent at putting stuff together.
