magnaflow 14829 problem

Hey I ordered some magnaflow 14829 mufflers and I brought it to a muffler shop but they said I bought the wrong muffler. They said the 14829 was a center-center and our tsx need a offset-center muffler because the center-center piping will be really close to the suspension. It gonna cause vibration or something like that. Can anybody help me? Or maybe i could bring it to another shop and see what they say.

I believe the shop is right. You need a shop that's capable of bending pipes and fabricating. The mufflers not a direct fit. Any serious shop shouldn't have a problem with this though.

yeah, tobwac, is it just the angle of the pic or is the drive side muffler tip slightly touching the bumper?

i got the Vibrant 1141 and i kept both resonator for better sound cuz just the vibrant is not enough to kill the raspy noise

Had my local shop install some Magnaflow nockoffs. They have the same part number as the Magnaflows, even with the MF in the part #. They fit perfect, look exactly like that pic above. Even put the stock tips on to em to keep it lookin clean.
Sounds good, took a while to get used to the sound inside the car though.
