I talked to RV6. They're getting delays from their vendors. They just released thier TL-SHAWD J-pipes with ceramic coating option. Any interest in ceramic coating for the TSX PCD?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thermal_barrier_coating

It pretty much keeps the heat in the exhaust system, lowering engine bay temps which helps with CAI's. Since the heat is kept in the exhaust system, it will help the 2nd CAT or HFCATs heat up faster which will make it more efficient.

Richie contacted me and let me know that RV6 just recieved the components that were causing the delay. Production should be underway!

quick question: Will this cause the car to lose its initial torque (since the tsx's heavy, it will need all the torque it can get) and i presume one will get additional noise even the rest of the exhaust's stock?

Low end torque felt better after the prototype PCD was installed, but that was with the butt dyno. RV6 is planning some dyno time for my car once the production PCD is ready along with a test pipe and HFPC test pipe.

Yes, the exhaust will get louder since the PCD removes the Pre-Cat.

It sounds like an interesting part. When do you expect to get the results?

I talked to RV6 and they're currently swamped. Too much to do, not enough time. They're working on doing engine swaps for customers along with the V6 line of exhaust components. I gave them the prototype back so they could build the welding jig off of that. Trust me, they make great quality products and it will be well worth the wait.
