I'm thinking about picking up a K&N filter to throw into my car for a quick fix before I decide on a CAI. Anybody have any experience with this or have any input? Will I notice a difference other than money out of my wallet?

Most likely, no.

It's a good filter if your stock one needs replacing. But don't expect to "feel" any gains from it.

The performance gain is there, but in all honestly.. save/wait to get a CAI.

 

I just installed one a few days ago and you can hear the engine a little more, there was very slight improvement in throttle response but that's about it. I bought it mainly because I was due for one and the K&N was just a few dollars more than the stock acura filter. Fit is perfect just like stock and install is what you would expect from replaceing a air filter... about a minute.
