Injen Intake
#50
i've never been to Toronto, so i dont know how often it rains there.
but if its just cold, and not much rain, then you will be fine with installing this intake as a cold air intake. every engine out there performs better with cold air (noy sure about diesels but yeah).
if it rains often then you might want to install this intake as a short ram though.
p.s. it is always a good idea to get the aem by pass valve or injen's own hydro shield if it rains often and you want to use it as a cold air intake.

on a side note, Injen is a bit cheaper compared to takeda, and probably a lot cheaper compared to ct, excelerate sells the injen for 280 i believe.

i managed to get it on tonight. removing front bumper was a piece of cake, removing airbox was a piece of cake, but DAMN resonator was a PITA, putting the bumper back and making sure that all the clips were on correctly was also a PITA.
total time was 1 hour and 40 minutes, probably should subtract 20 minutes or so because me and my buddy cleaned up my HID fog install, and we had a little bit of trouble getting it to work lol.
Tip: remove the black rubber coupler before attempting to remove the resonator, it makes the removal of resonator much easier.
How does it sound: Well, in normal driving conditions, the intake CANNOT be heard, push the gas pedal a little hard and over 4k RPM and you'd hear it a little bit. Under WOT that thing is F$#%$%#% LOUD!!!
Will take video clips tomorrow afternoon lol.
