What is the price on the supercharger going to be?? Any lower since the engine management is separate?

The supercharger most likely will come with appropriate tuning, possibly even a flashpro.

How many preloaded maps will they have for our car and will they have one for the CT supercharger which I already have installed?

There probably won't be many. I'd plan on getting it tuned myself.

The CT charger will have one but I cannot say if it will be preloaded. Most likely you'd need to get it from CT.

Anyone know if this/the supercharger will mate to euro accords? We have the same K24Z3 engine, but I'm not sure if the ECU is the same.

The hard bits should all fit fine provided the cars are equipped the same. However note that this cannot be guaranteed. The ECU is going to be different. You maybe can run a USDM ECU but we cannot predict if there are other repercussion for doing so.

any idea if this will work on a USDM accord?

if no, can we swap a TSX ECU into an accord and then use it??

This I have no idea if this combo would work unfortunately. We could try it though...where in Socal are you?

Hope this isn't a dumb Q. but do you think if I swapped my 2012 ECU with a 2009 ECU, I could use flashpro now without complications? Or is it possible our cars will reject the foreign ECU.

I've been bumped 4 times for tuning. I now have an appointment for Monday at 11am. We will see what happens. BTW it's 100+ degrees here for the past 3 weeks, so expect low power...

How would I go about getting this flashed in the Seattle area - do people go somewhere to get it flashed? Or do they just buy the Hondata unit and do it themselves?

Does anyone have dyno results?

Thanks!

I just ordered my flash pro and throwdown performance downpipe yesterday. I should hopefully have them installed by the week after next and have some new dyno numbers with the supercharger.

CarbConn (Carburetor Connection) in Kirkland/Totem Lake has a lot of Hondata experience. I had planned on dyno time there, but I have a connection with another shop I'm using.

Does anyone know if Hondata has a rep here on the boards? I'm having this issue trying to mate my FP to my car.

I would contact Hondata. I'm pretty sure they put that custom tune on your ECU for the CT-E SC. It's just the Flashpro security checking and trying to prevent people that don't own the TSX or have the 09-10 ECU from using it.

I know how to fix it.

go to http://www.hondata.com/downloads.html

Get this version: V1.3.3

It'll fix it!

Okay, so it's a beta code versus production code issue. I guess that means I'll have to uninstall The .7 version and reinstall the.3 version.

What version of code are you running right now? the 1.3.3 I "believe" I'll check later to make sure is the version I'm running.

When you ran through the install, did you tell the software you wanted to run the 09 tsx as the car?

If you aren't running the traction control I'm not what you gain running 7 v 3 of the code. Reach out to hondata on their forum. I had the same problem, and was told to download the code that supported the 09 tsx. Problem was fixed.

Beta doesn't equate elite. It just means it's code that is past alpha phase, but not necessarily ready to show time for all customers. Beta is code for lab work to be completed on. I would never run beta software on a customer's equipment.

Installing 1.3.3 did not fix it. I posted on the Hondata forum and here was their response:

Oh, yours is the car with the original hondata reflash for the CT supercharger huh? Maybe that's why the code/OS version doesn't like it.

So I just got off the phone with Hondata and I do in fact have to wait until the next version of software to come out. The guy didn't know when that would be though. Could be two days or two weeks. I'm SOL in the mean time.....

I'm not doing that without a way to back up the current ecu tune. Hondata put a lot of time into my current tune and the car is running great. I don't want to screw it up by goi g backwards.
My catless pipe is not here yet anyway. The only thing ill need the flash pro for is tu I g once I get it installed and dyno'd. I'll need to disable the secondary cat sensor and add some fuel and timing I think.

The v6 uses a different ECU, so I would be willing to say that it will not work.

There is an option for the V6 crowd though, it's already out in the wild in TL land. It's a piggy back set up. If you go searching for it, you'll find it.
