EBC brakes and Castrol SRF

Forgive my grmmar as I'm on my phone. So. Who runs the EBC 3GD rotors with Yellowstuff pads and stainless hoses? I ask because ever since I did the upgrade my pedal feel hasn't been great. It is predictable and if I step on it, it will stop. But if I'm running the car hard similar to track use my stopping power is greatly lost. It almost seems as if they get too hot and boils the OEM fluid. I'm almost positive this is what is happening.

Anyhow, I bought a one liter bottle of Castrol SRF fluid and have yet to put it in because of my recent interest in buying a real sports car. I'm putting that on hold for now which leaves me with this insanely expensive bottle of brake fluid chillin in the corner.

I'd like to get some feedback from anyone here who has either run this brake fluid by itself or with any type of brake upgrade or more specifically my setup if you have it and tell me what improvements were made by the switch or if it just lousy pads and rotors to begin with. Also, if you are running the same setup, do you have a lot of squeal?

Thanks for any input.

Ok... ever since i posted this and hadn't had a single response, I'm guessing few if any run my setup. That's just fine because today I finally decided to flush the fluid and run the SRF.

The improvements are noticeable and immediate. Still very easy to modulate but the fade and brake power loss under hard braking is gone. Kudos to Castrol for going above and beyond on this one. Well worth the $70.

well good to know. it is possible that the problem was just air in the line, and flushing it cleared it when you put the new stuff in.
